Commissioned by the Hobart Royal Botanical Gardens, 2008

Transfer of Canary Oak leaves, Dimensions variable

Fallen leaves from the canopy of a large Canary Oak in the Hobart Royal Botanical Gardens were transferred to a nearby single room pavilion to fill an area equivalent to the size of the canopy. This work seeks to draw parallels between the single room created by the pavilion and the naturally occurring room that exists in the canopy of the large Canary Oak.
